Caroline Carter

Director of Technology PR

Caroline is a seasoned communications expert with a passion for all things tech. With a track record of driving awareness, momentum and value for clients in the B2B, consumer and lifestyle sectors, Caroline thrives on developing innovative PR strategies as well as identifying new opportunities for her clients to gain traction and make headlines in the markets that matter most.

Previously, Caroline led in-house PR for Payfirma, one of Canada’s leading FinTech companies, securing top tier coverage through both traditional media relations, contributed content and strategic event partnerships. She comes to PR by way of journalism, having worked as an on-air reporter and producer at NNBY in Canada’s North and with brief stints at NBC’s International London News Bureau and Shaw TV in Vancouver. Caroline holds a Master’s of Professional Communication from Ryerson University.

A loyal west coaster, Caroline divides her time between her two favorite cities: Vancouver and San Francisco. A regular guest speaker on PR hacking at startup accelerators throughout the Lower Mainland, she is also the Co-Founder and instructor of “Become a Thought Leader in 1 Day,” an intensive boot camp offered through Simon Fraser University. Her spare time is limited, but mostly spent flying her drone, checking her instagram, and moonlighting as a stand up comedian. She readily admits to using too many hashtags.
