Founder & CEO
Jennifer is a social entrepreneur and one of North America’s most sought-after public relations experts. She began her career as a newspaper reporter covering politics, news and entertainment for Black Press, (now Glacier Media). There she garnered national and international award recognition for her reporting. Jennifer is still a columnist and regular contributor to several publications including: Fast Company, Entrepreneur, Profit, and BC Business.
In 2006, Jennifer transitioned into PR, heading up the public relations for one of North America’s fastest-growing franchise companies. Her “nose for news” served her well in landing the company regular news features in America’s top tier media outlets as it expanded into New York and the Northeast of the States.
In 2007, Jennifer was instrumental in starting one of the country’s leading PR firms. Passionate about social enterprise, in 2010 Jennifer later founded Vancouver’s top social impact PR firm.
In addition to running Brix Media Co., Jennifer devotes much of her time to organizations that are creating positive social change. She serves on advisory boards for both the Board of Change and Raw Beauty Talks. She is also an ambassador and the Director of Public Relations for the Young Entrepreneur Leadership Launchpad and a member of Forum for Women Entrepreneurs.
When she’s not nailing a tagline or pitching a story at Brix Media Co., you can find her perfecting her dancer’s pose or chasing after her doberman at the off leash park.
