Access Our Medicine

Our Purpose: Access Our Medicine, an organization led by a Vancouver-based philanthropist, launched an online declaration to improve global access to affordable medicine. Brix was engaged to spread the word about their notable petition, signed by the likes of Richard Branson and Sean Penn, as well as to help gain traction around their social media Thunderclap.

Our Approach: Brix collaborated with Access Our Medicine’s global network of partners to create localized pitches that would connect with publications who reach those desired audiences. Our focus was on health, medicine, and general news to encourage an array of individuals to sign the declaration.

Our Impact: Access Our Medicine received over 100,000 signatures on its declaration and its Thunderclap boomed doubling the target goal and reaching over 1,000 people. Over 6.7 million people in the Greater Vancouver area were reached from feature coverage in 24 Hours, VancityBuzz, and the Vancouver Sun.
