Canadian Internet Marketing Conference

Our Purpose: Being in its second year of operations, CMIC was looking to increase brand exposure nationally. Having large expectations to double in size from the previous year, the conference needed PR support to promote speaker line-up, attendance and conference themes.

Our Approach: CIMC was positioned as one of the fastest- growing, and most influential marketing conferences in Canada. Brix leveraged top tier speakers from Google, Disney and Ebay, to secure a number of pre-conference interviews and features to promote the caliber of the conference and increase ticket sales.

Our Impact: Brix secured a total of
 20 media features from its outreach, reaching a total audience of 9,422,181. This included pre-coverage that promoted the event and featured speakers; while several national outlets like Marketing Magazine and YouTube celebrities like Josh Rimer attended the event and developed live and post-event coverage. Total attendance was over 600 people, which succeeded CMIC’s goal of doubling attendance from the previous year.
