Our Purpose: Vancouver based real estate developers PortLiving partnered with Pritzker prize winning architect Shigeru Ban to undertake the world’s largest hybrid timber structure. The project named “Terrace House” was promised to redesign Coal Harbour establishing it as a new standard for luxury urban development with sustainability in mind. Brix was tasked with raising awareness on the project to Vancouver’s real estate community while establishing Shigeru as a prominent figure locally.
Our Approach: Strategically teasing out elements of the project, Brix introduced Shigeru Ban to Vancouver along with the project and positioned Terrace House as one of the most unique projects in development in Vancouver. The news was targeted to Vancouver based media, Canadian publications and international architect outlets.
Our Impact: Over the course of three months we secured over 30 media hits with a combined reach of over 80,000,000. These included architectural and real estate pieces along with local coverage. Some notable outlets included Architectural Digest, InHabitat, DeZeen and Canadian Business.
